To see if your download is complete, open the Spotify app on Apple. Users will also obviously need to be subscribed to Spotify Premium to access this feature, so if you aren’t subscribed, then you won’t be able to take advantage of this new feature. Unfortunately, there is no progress bar for Apple Watch downloads in Spotifys iPhone app. For starters, users can only download a maximum of 50 songs per playlist. That being said, it should be noted that there are some caveats to offline playback and downloads. You might also need to make sure that you have the latest version of Spotify installed, so head on over to the App Store to get your hands on the latest update. The report suggests that the rollout is being done in phases so if you don’t see the feature available for you yet, don’t worry as it should eventually make its way onto your device. I’m not sure if that is on purpose for formatting or storage concerns, but I would love to see that limit. However, fast forward to today, a report from Gadgets and Wearables has revealed that it seems that Spotify has started rolling out the feature to users. I am so grateful that we finally can download Spotify playlists on the Apple Watch, but I was pretty disappointed to find out that there is a 50 song limit per playlist. Spotify later announced support for offline playback, but it seems that it wasn’t available to users yet. This meant that those who had the LTE model could stream Spotify while they were on the go even if they didn’t have their iPhones with them. You’ll see the word Downloading under all files that are being downloaded from your iPhone.
